Authorities Seek Help Locating Suspect in Circle K Robbery
LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) – Deputies with the Lexington County Department are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man wanted for allegedly robbing the Circle located on Augusta Road in West Columbia.
Authorities say the suspect went to the convenience store on Thursday, June 2 and approached the sales counter as if he were making a purchase.
The suspect then ordered the clerk to put cash and cigarettes in a bag for him, according to witnesses police say.
According to authorities he then left the store and drove away in a silver vehicle toward Leaphart Road.
Authorities believe the suspect is in his 20’s or early 30’s with a shaved head and stands between 5’7” to 5’9”.
The suspect was caught on surveillance wearing grey plaid shorts, a white shirt, black and gray shoes with blue laces.
