COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Tuesday’s winner-take-all regional final between USC (45-16) and UNCW (41-18) has been scheduled for a 2 p.m. start at Founders Park.  The game will air on ESPNU.

The game was originally scheduled for Monday at 6 p.m. but was postponed because of rain.  The winner will move on to play Oklahoma State in the Super Regionals.

After losing its regional opener Friday night 5-4 to Rhode Island, South Carolina fought its way through the loser’s bracket with three straight wins, including Sunday night’s 10-1 win over UNCW.

The Seahawks had planned on pitching Friday night starter Ryan Foster against the Gamecocks.  The extra day means the Gamecocks add several options to their pitching plans, including Friday night starter Clarke Schmidt, Saturday starter Braden Webb (only threw 54 pitches in his last outing) and reliever Josh Reagan.
