RCSD: Suspect Attempted to Steal From 91-Year-Old Acquaintance
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department are looking for a 28-year-old man wanted for forgery.
On Friday, June 3, in the 21oo block of Woodfield Drive, Kevin Ray allegedly stole a check from the 91 year-old victim’s checkbook.
According to authorities, Ray then forged his name to the check for $800 and attempted to cash it at First Citizens Bank, located at 7039 Parklane Road.
Ray stands at 5’ 8” with dark hair and facial hair, police say.
