LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Police regularly prepare for any large-scale threats that could happen in South Carolina.
It just so happened that the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department had active-shooter training scheduled for Tuesday with other agencies at Chapin Alternative Academy.
The training comes two days after 49 people were killed at a nightclub in Orlando on Sunday.
The copycat concerns are palpable, as emergency teams trained today for a similar horrific event.
