Braden Webb is officially one and done with Gamecock baseball. The 21-year-old pitcher signed with the Milwaukee Brewers Friday. He was a third round pick.

The College Baseball Writers Associated named Webb their freshman pitcher of the year. He became the first Carolina pitcher to win double digit games since Michael Roth in 2012. He finished the year with a 10-6 record, 3.09 ERA and 128 strikeouts in 102 innings.
The Oklahoma native started his college career late because of an elbow injury that required Tommy John surgery.
Webb is the third Gamecock underclassman to sign a pro contract within the last week, joining Gene Cone and Dom Thompson-Williams.
