Lexington Co. Authorities Investigating Afternoon Shooting

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Authorities with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department tell ABC Columbia that an argument between two people ended in gunfire on Wednesday afternoon.

The shooting occurred at “The Store” on Highway 6, officials say.

We’re told one person involved in the incident was taken to an area hospital and is being treated for a gunshot wound.

Authorities tell ABC Columbia they are not currently looking for any suspects in the case.
