Tom Brady Won’t Appeal Suspension
(ESPN) – Tom Brady announced Friday that he will no longer continue the legal process regarding his four-game Deflategate suspension.
Brady posted a message on his Facebook page, calling it a “difficult decision.”
The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan rejected Brady’s latest appeal of the suspension Wednesday, issuing a one-sentence rejection of requests by the NFL Players Association Brady to reconsider an April decision that found that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell acted within his powers by suspending the New England Patriots star quarterback for his role in a scheme to doctor footballs used in a January 2015 playoff game
