Deputies Searching for ‘Person of Interest’ in High School Break-In

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO) – Investigators with the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office are looking for for a person of interest after a break-in at an Orangeburg school.
Authorities say deputies were patrolling the campus of Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School on July 23 when they noticed a glass that had been shattered.
The school’s security personnel and deputies searched the buildings to determine what may have been taken; however, nothing was missing, authorities say.
Surveillance video shows a subject approach a building and gain entry sometime after 1 a.m.
The person of interest, then entered four or more rooms before it appeared something “spooked” him, according to a police report.
The subject is then seen damaging a camera before leaving, authorities say.
