Final Suspect In Eutawville Fatal Slaying Behind Bars

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO) – Deputies with the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office say a Summerville man wanted in connection with last week’s fatal shooting in Eutawville has turned himself in.

24-year-old Dwendell Lamont High will face charges of murder, attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

He is scheduled to appear in court today at 2:30 p.m.

Authorities believe High was the getaway driver of a vehicle transporting four other men who have already been charged with murder in the death of 46-year-old woman on July 19.

Four others, Za’Quan Markel Taste, 18; Treshawn Markeese Jenkins, 22; Matthew Kamin Brown, 20; and Frank Jemerrl Jarzman Smoot, 20, were taken into custody last week, officials say.
