Deputies Investigating Shooting During Home Invasion

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Lexington County Sheriff’s Department deputies are investigating after a home invasion erupted in gunfire between the homeowner and a suspect early Saturday morning.

Officials said it happened in the 100 block of Catherine Lane in Lexington County around 1 a.m. Both the homeowner and suspect were shot.

Investigators said the homeowner is recovering in the hospital and is expected to be okay. The suspect is in critical condition, but is expected to recover.
