Grand Opening of the Main Street Public House
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin and other elected officials celebrated the opening of a restaurant offering ‘casual cuisine’ during a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday morning.
Main Street Public House is located at 1556 Main St.
“We’re excited to welcome our new downtown neighbors,” said Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin. “Downtown and the Central Business District have seen exceptional growth and development, and we are excited to see the trend continue.”
The restaurant will serve lunch, dinner and brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
The restaurant owners also developed and own the King Street Public House in Charleston; the new location in downtown Columbia is their second restaurant.
