Swansea Woman Dies After Being Hit by SUV

GASTON, S.C. (WOLO) – The S.C. Highway Patrol is investigating after a Swansea woman died, after being hit by an SUV in Gaston Saturday night.

The Lexington County Coroner said Amy Rast, 38, was walking in the middle of Blackville Road around 10:30 p.m. when she was hit by the SUV. The driver was unharmed. The coroner said Rast died at the scene.
