Third Suspect Wanted in Fatal Shooting, Extradited to Columbia
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Authorities with the Columbia Police Department say the third suspect and final suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting has been taken into custody.
Jamal Hughey is accused of the fatal shooting of a man and injury of another victim following in argument on Magrath Street in July; he has been extradited back to South Carolina from North Carolina Tuesday.
Hughey is also charged with possession of a firearm during a violent crime.
Two other suspects were arrested last month.
23-year-old Tyrone Hollins, Jr., is charged with murder and attempted murder.
Hollins’ brother, Keoki Hollins, 21, is charged with murder, attempted murder, and possession of a firearm during a violent crime.
The trio is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
