The Hornets have 16 sets of back-to-back games, the same amount as 2015-16, and have one set of four games in five nights (Nov. 25-29).

This offseason, the Hornets re-signed core free agents Nic Batum and Marvin Williams, while adding experienced veterans Marco Belinelli, Roy Hibbert and Ramon Sessions. The 2016-17 season will also feature the return of Hornets forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, who missed all but seven games last year due to injury. Head coach Steve Clifford begins his fourth season in Charlotte, having led the Hornets to the NBA Playoffs in two of his first three seasons at the helm.
