RIO DE JANEIRO (WOLO) — Team USA continues to dominate in Rio.
The United States took home six more medals yesterday, bringing their grand total to 32. Eleven of those medals are gold.
China, Japan, Russia and Australia are still trailing the U.S. and round out the five countries with the most medals so far.
The action continues on day six of the games.
Simone Biles and Aly Raisman are looking to add to their medal count. The women’s gymnastics individual all-around competition kicks off Thursday.
Some of our favorite swimmers are making a splash down at the pool today.
Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte will be battling it out for the gold in the 200-meter individual medley Thursday. Phelps will also be swimming in the 100-meter butterfly preliminary.
Straight off her win Wednesday night, Katie Ledecky gets a chance to go for another gold when she takes part in the women’s 800-meter freestyle preliminary Thursday.
For the first time since 1904 we’ll get the chance to see golf at the Olympics.
