Funeral Arrangements Set for River Bluff High School Football Player
LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) – Funeral arrangements have been set for Lewis Simpkins, the River Bluff High School student who died last week after football practice.
Visitation will be held at the Caughman Harman Funeral Home – Lexington Chapel on Sunday, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, August 15, at 1 p.m. at Word of God Church and Ministries located at 119 Diamond Lane in Columbia.
A parent of a River Bluff student and volunteer coaching assistant, Chris Wooten, has set up a foundation called US.WE.90 to help the family. (Simpkins would have worn the number 90 this year.)
