WATCH: Simpkins Celebration of Life

Columbia,S.C. (WOLO) —  A community plans to come together to remember the life of a River Bluff High school student Monday. 14 year old Lewis Simpkins collapsed during football practice last week, he was treated at the school and then transported to an area hospital where he died.

Family and Friends plan on attending a celebration of Life Ceremony being held at the Word of God Church and Ministries at one in the afternoon.

There’s still no word on the exact cause of death for 14 year old Lewis Simpkins. The Lexington County coroner last reported autopsy results were “inconclusive” It could still be several more days before additional tests have been completed.
