Orangeburg Man Charged with Burglary After Fight with Sibling, Acquaintances

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO) – Authorities with the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office say a 20-year-old man has been charged with burglary and battery after an argument escalated at a relative’s home last week.

During a hearing today, bond was set at $23,000 for Wesley Jordan, with additional orders to stay away from the victims he’s accused of fighting during the August 9th incident.

According to the incident report, Jordan was arguing with a sibling and two acquaintances at a Windy Pines Road residence.

Police say, the three victims ran into the home and Jordan forced his way in.

Two of the  victims were able to get Jordan out of the home.

He was taken into custody on charges of first-degree burglary and three counts of third-degree assault and battery.
