SC State Wraps Up Preseason Practices

ORANGEBURG, SC (SCSU SID) — South Carolina State basically wrapped up its preseason workouts Tuesday (Aug.16) in a two-hour practice in full gear at Oliver. C. Dawson Stadium.

Coach Pough and the Bulldogs worked on special teams (kicking and punting), while also devoting some attention to overview of individual and team installation game-style drills.

The Bulldogs will now turn its focus to preparing for its season-opener against Central Florida on Saturday. Sept. 3 in Orlando, Fla. Kickoff is 7 p.m.

SC State will hold its annual “Meet the Players Day,” hosted by The S.T.A.T.E Club, is set for Saturday, Aug. 20 at 12 p.m. More details on these events will be released later.

Season Tickets are on sale at the Ticket Office for $130.00.  Purchase yours today.  Single-game tickets bought in advance are Student/Youth: $10.00; General Admission: $30.00: Reserved: $35.00.
