WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the body found inside a vehicle in West Columbia Thursday morning.

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher identified the man as 30-year-old Michael Andy McMillan of Columbia.

Authorities are still investigating the death, deputies say the body was found in a vehicle in the 1600 block of Double Branch Road in West Columbia.

Authorities say they received a call of a suspicious vehicle just after 7 a.m. Thursday morning.

The cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy scheduled to be performed on Friday.
