Watch: Throwback to High School

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) — Have you ever wanted to go back in time and re-visit those high school years? If so, You’re in luck.

The Young Leaders Society (YLS)  is teaming up with United way of the Midlands to host the “Throwback to High School event”. Each year there is a different theme, this year the group is taking a trip back to class.

Organizers are encouraging you to come out dress in your best high school attire, and enjoy old school music, and cafeteria lunch with a twist.

The event will take place Thursday day evening from 5pm until 8:30 at the Drew Wellness Center so you feel like you are enjoying a party in your old high school.

While the event is all about having a good time, it’s all for a good cause too. The United Way of the Midlands helps make a difference in the community, specifically when it comes to homelessness. YLS, a group of young professionals ages 231 -40 something are ready to help give their time to help.

During the event, members of YLS won’t only rock their old fashion, but bring donations of school supplies for the generation getting back to the books right now.

If you’d like to come and and join in on the fun you can purchase tickets for $15.00 (for members),  $20.00 (for non- members) and $25.00 dollars at the door.
