‘Coffee with a Cop’ Set for Next Tuesday

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Everyone dreads it – being stopped by a police officer for speeding, wouldn’t it be nice to be stopped by the men and women in blue for a cup of coffee?
It’s not an encounter that most people expect to have with law enforcement, but that’s exactly what ‘Coffee with Cop’ aims to do.
Officers with the Columbia Police Department want to brew a conversation with the community they serve.
Meet them next Tuesday, August 23 from 8am-9am at the Dunkin’ Donuts located at 7400 Wilson Boulevard.
