Lexington, SC (WOLO)– Learning the ins and outs of a new tool to help keep tabs on loved ones who may wander away from home. Monday Lexington County Deputies got some hands on training to help in a possible search.
According to Deputies, the training session and field exercise focused on Project Lifesaver transmitters.
The transmitters are used in search operations to track individuals prone to venture from home due to conditions such as Alzheimer’s, dementia and autism.
