Downtown Columbia Streets Reopen After Alleged Threat

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Authorities say a threat was made at 1101 Lincoln Street Tuesday morning.

The threat shutdown surrounding streets in the area.

The intersections of College and Lincoln, Lincoln and Gervais, and Senate and Park were temporarily closed.

According to a tweet from CPD, police determined the threat was not credible.

Employees and patrons are safe, police say.

Details are still limited at this time.
