INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WOLO) — Residents in Indiana are working to pick up the pieces after at least eight tornadoes swept through the state.

Rescue workers in Italy continue to search for survivors after Wednesday’s powerful 6.2 magnitude earthquake.  The death toll has now climbed to 247 people.

Good Morning Columbia has the very latest.

South Carolina is no stranger to natural disasters.

As the one year anniversary of the historic flooding approaches, the Red Cross wants to make sure you’re prepared should another disaster strike.

They’re holding a Disaster Responder Bootcamp.

The Red Cross is looking to train volunteers to help the community in the aftermath of a flood, tornado or hurricane.

The bootcamp is taking place Wednesday, August 31 in Columbia and Charleston:
