New Details in Unsolved Missing Teen Case

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) – An FBI agent, citing a statement from a prison inmate, says a teenage girl missing since 2009 was gang-raped, shot to death and her body thrown into an alligator-infested swamp. The agent’s account was contained in a federal court transcript obtained by The Post and Courier of Charleston. Brittanee Drexel was a 17-year-old from Rochester, New York, when she was last seen during a spring break trip to Myrtle Beach in April 2009.
