Benedict Receive Votes In HSRN Football Poll

WATCH-Benedict-Gets-First-Win-in-More-Than-a-Year-imageCOLUMBIA, S.C. – Benedict’s dominating defensive performance in Saturday’s 5-3 victory over Livingstone College was noticed nationally. The Tigers received 13 votes in the Heritage Sports Radio Network Division II/NAIA football poll, the most points of any team not ranked in the top 10.

Tuskegee leads the poll with 93 points, while four other SIAC schools were ranked in the top 10, including Miles at No. 3, Lane at No. 6, Albany State at No. 7 and Morehouse at No. 10 with 15 points, two more than Benedict received.
