Gas Line Rupture Closes Area Roads

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Roads near Beltine Boulevard are closed in both directions as crews work to repair a gas line rupture.
Around 12:30 p.m. officials with the Columbia Police Department sent out a tweets saying the rupture occurred between W. Beltine Boulevard and Grant Street.

As a safety precaution, firefighters are advising people to avoid the area and seek an alternate route.
