COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–If you were near the Columbia Metropolitan Airport Wednesday you likely noticed a lot of First Responders, but it was only a test.

The airport held an emergency plan exercise.

The Drill was part of a preparedness exercise, held routinely, for on site officials to learn how to better respond in the face of a real life emergency.

There were no disruptions in flights during the drill say Airport Officials.
