Trio Sought for Using Stolen Credit Card, Police Say

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Three men are suspected of opening credit card accounts to buy thousands of dollars worth of electronics and furniture using stolen personal information.

Over the course of several days, the trio bought televisions and furniture from the Value City Furniture at 201 Columbia Mall Road, the Target at 10204 Two Notch Road and the Whit-Ash Furniture at 919 Gervais Street valued at $11,000, police say.

The victim realized that his accounts were compromised after receiving billing statements in the mail, Sheriff Leon Lott said.

Two suspects are described as white males one in his 60’s, wearing a gray t-shirt, camouflage shorts, and a camouflage hat and the second suspect is in his 30’s, wearing a black t-shirt and black pants.

The third suspect is described as a black male, wearing a black t-shirt, and khaki shorts.
