ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO) – A 22-year-old woman is charged with attempted murder after police say she stabbed a man multiple times in the head for being late picking up a child from school.
Orangeburg County Magistrate Peggy Doremus denied bond for Rosalyn Jamison Thursday.
Jamison is accused of stabbing her 54-year-old boyfriend at a home on Laquinta Drive around 3 p.m. on Wednesday following an argument, police say.
The incident report states while arguing in a vehicle, each pulled a sharp object on one another.
Once police arrived on the scene, Jamison allegedly told investigators she stabbed the victim, due to his tardiness in picking up a child from school, according to the incident report.
Jamison is also charged with possession of a weapon during a crime. She is being held at the Orangeburg-Calhoun Detention Center.
