Williams-Brice Stadium officially welcomed Will Muschamp for his first Saturday with the Gamecocks, as his new starting quarterback, freshman Brandon McIlwain, helped lead South Carolina to a 20-15 win over East Carolina. The USC offense scored 17 quick points in the first quarter while the defense forced three turnovers in the red zone to earn their second win in three games under their new coach.
