Carolina Panthers Release Statement About Sunday’s Home Game

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WOLO) -Update- Officials with the NFL say they are planning to play Sunday’s game as scheduled.
“We are monitoring events in Charlotte and have been in communication with local officials and authorities, and both the Carolina Panthers and the Minnesota Vikings.”
In a tweet today, the Carolina Panthers President Danny Morrison said they are monitoring protests as Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings approaches.
The game is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Bank of American Stadium.
