Missing Lexington County Inmate Captured

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Update: Deputies with the Lexington County Detention Center captured a missing inmate shortly after 6:30pm Monday.

Deputies were actively looking for the detainee who ran off from the Lexington Medical Center Monday.

According to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, the detainee is 37-year-old Corey Jorell Eaglin.

He was arrested Monday morning following a domestic violence incident, police say.

Accosting too authorities Eaglin also has three outstanding warrants related to drug charges.

Eaglin is described as 5’11” and weighs 104 pounds. According to deputies, Eaglin is also missing the lower portion of an arm and has one eye.

Eaglin was last seen wearing a hospital gown and black undergarments. He is also wearing a colostomy bag.

If you see Corey Jorell Eaglin or know where he might be, you are asked to call 911 immediately.
