Police: Man’s Suspicious Behavior During Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Deputies have arrested a man after they found heroin during a traffic stop on Tuesday, a Richland County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson said.

According to officials, a deputy pulled over Ceja Wenceslao Ceja, 27, for failing to yield the right of way at I-26 and I-20 and during the traffic stop, the deputy became suspicious of Ceja’s behavior.

A K-9 search of the vehicle yielded 258 grams of heroin, officials say.

Ceja is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
