Sheriff: Suspect Wanted for Attempted Murder, Armed Robbery

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department need the community’s help in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for attempted murder and armed robbery.

Just before 3:30 a.m. on September 11, at Hawthorn Suites located at 200 Zimalcrest Drive, authorities say the suspect was captured on video surveillance firing multiple shots at the victim as he sat in his vehicle.

The victim allegedly fired back at the suspect.

Authorities say there were no one was injured during the incident.

The suspect described as a black male, medium build, facial hair, and wearing what appears to be a Chicago Bulls ball cap.
