Fourth Victim Dies Following I-77 Crash

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–Four people killed in a collision on Interstate-77 Thursday night, were Claflin University students.
It happened near the Killian Rd. exit, just before 6pm.
The SC Highway Patrol says the students were in an suv when it crossed the center median and hit a car head on.
The coroner’s office says Melvin Jackson, Darrell Pendergrass, and Keeron McElveen died at the scene.
Jamarius Bruce died later in the hospital.
