Columbia Crimes Investigated

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) — Columbia police continue investigating two separate violent crimes that took place in the capital city Tuesday.

Authorities say a shooting around seven Tuesday night left one person with an injury to their leg. A spokesperson for CPD says this took place at the intersection of King and Bratton streets just off Millwood Avenue.

A second, and unrelated incident took place in the 14 hundred block of Main Street, near the Hub Student Apartment Complex according to police.

CPD says a person was transported to an area hospital in this incident, his condition still unknown.

Police say a suspect was arrested in connection with the stabbing.
