The decision to end true freshman Jake Bentley’s time as a redshirt wasn’t a hard decision for Will Muschamp, as the head Gamecock and offensiver coordinator Kurt Roper decided to give the QB the keys to USC for their 34-28 win over UMass Sunday. But they weren’t going to play the son of fellow coach Bobby Bentley until Jake and his whole family agreed on the change to his eligibility moving forward.
