Trio Wanted for Allegedly Stealing $10K Worth of Tools, Supplies to Help Disaster Relief Victims
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department are looking for three suspects who they say stole $10,000 worth of tools and supplies to help disaster relief victims.
On October 8, on the 2700 Block of Shop Road, the trio stole a 1997 white 20 foot enclosed Hallmark trailer that contained the tools and supplies from the South Beltline – Gills Creek Community Relief Foundation, authorities say.
Sheriff Leon Lott said the suspects cut the lock to the organization’s gate to gain entry onto the property and fled the location in a white pickup truck.
