Self Driving Beer Trucks Roll Forward

Fort Collins, Co. (WOLO) — You may have heard of self driving cars and recent test runs on the road, well move over passenger cars because big rigs are coming through.

OTTO , the Uber owned company is testing out self driving beer trucks. The technology company says they have just finished their very first road trip making a successful delivery of more than 2 thousand cases of beer.

While there was a driver inside the truck monitoring the system, the company says if this new technology is implemented it could give some of those truckers with long haul deliveries a chance to rest.

No word on when it may start rolling forward permanently.
