Woman Found Dead After Lexington Co. House Fire Died From Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – According to officials with the County of Lexington, a woman is dead following a house fire in the 100 block of Darian Drive in the Red Bank community Sunday evening just before 12 a.m.

Lexington County Fire Service and EMS responded to the blaze and found the 64-year-old victim inside.

The victim, Rosemary Ann Cseh, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher said Cseh died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning related to the fire.

Firefighters discovered there were no working smoke alarms inside of the residence, officials say.

Officials say the residence suffered an estimated $45,000 in damages.
