RCSD: Suspect Uses Pepper Spray in Two Notch Road Bank Robbery
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department are looking for a suspect accused of pepper spraying three bank employees before stealing an unknown amount of cash over the weekend.
Authorities say the suspect who is described as being a white male in his mid-30’s to early 40’s, was caught on surveillance video entering the TD Bank located at 10000 Two Notch Road just after 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 12 demanding money from employees.
The victims were treated on scene by EMS, authorities say.
According to police, the suspect is 6 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 180 lbs and was wearing a wind breaker jacket, black hat, and dark sunglasses.
The suspect fled the location in a burgundy Chevrolet Trailblazer with a partial SC Tag of 287.
Sheriff Leon Lott said the vehicle was observed in Blythewood near Farrow Road and Wilson Boulevard after the incident.
