RSCD: Man Still Missing After Two Years

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is asking for the public’s assistance to help locate a missing 45-year-old man who has been missing for two years.

Montey Donnell Thomas “Duke” was last seen on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Rick’s Party Shop at 3050 Bluff Road, authorities say.

Lott said Thomas called a friend to pick him up from the business, and has not been seen or heard from since.

Authorities say the family is very concerned because this is not typical behavior of Montey.

Montey is described as being 5′ 9” tall, has grey and black hair, weighs 175 pounds, and has brown eyes.

The Sheriff stated that the family is offering $2,000 in addition to what Crimestoppers offers to anyone with information leading to Montey’s whereabouts.

Citizens are encouraged to contact CRIMESTOPPERS in any of the following ways: call 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372), text to CRIMES (274637), and mark the beginning of the message with “TIPSC,” followed by the tip information or go to:, and click on the “Submit a tip” tab.
