Governor Haley Attends Day of Prayer at Emanuel AME

CHARLESTON, SC (WOLO)– As Church bells rang out across the state Tuesday, Governor Nikki Haley attended the SC Day of Prayer at Emanuel AME in Charleston.

Haley called for the state to come together at churches and houses of worship to pray for the state amid two high profile murder trials.

At the service Haley told worshippers “The faith was there, the action was people stood hand in hand and loved each other.
They didn’t look for someone to blame or hate, they looked for someone to love and they looked to lift people up.”
