Donald Trump to Tout a Deal Before “Thank You Tour”

WASHINGTON (AP) _President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence travel to Indiana today to tout a deal made with the company Carrier to keep hundreds of jobs from going to Mexico. But there’s a question of how many U.S. jobs have been saved. The deal spares about 800 union workers. But roughly 1,400 workers were slated to be laid off.

Trump also begins a “Thank You Tour” today to honor the supporters in states that gave him his stunning victory.
