SC Woman Accused of Scamming $11 Million from IRS

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) – Federal prosecutors say a 46-year-old Greenville County woman faces up to three years in prison for trying to scam $11 million from the IRS.

Acting U.S. Attorney Beth Drake said Wednesday that Stephanie Meyer of Simpsonville pleaded guilty to interfering with Internal Revenue laws.
