Deputies: Body Found Inside Home on Ranch Road

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department say a 28-year-old man was shot inside a home in the 3600 block of Ranch Road overnight and they need the public’s help for information leading to an arrest of the person (s) responsible.

Deputies say around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, they found the victim unresponsive on the floor of the home after responding to a shots fired call.

Richland County Coroner said Brandon Goodson died as a result of complications from multiple gunshots wounds to the upper body.

Goodson’s 2009 brown Nissan Murano SUV with South Carolina tag MPL623 is missing, deputies say.
