Lexington Deputies Search for Missing Teen
LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) – Lexington County Sheriff’s Department investigators are searching for a Columbia teen who they say hasn’t been seen or heard from in more than three months.
According to investigators, Thomas Neil Thurman was last seen by his parents on Aug. 24 as he left for the late bus to Irmo High School.
“Thurman’s father tells us Thomas was running late that morning and was last to leave the home,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “Thomas has a history of running away, but his father says this is the longest his son hasn’t returned home.”
Authorities describe Thurman as being 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 125 pounds. He was last seen wearing light colored jeans and a light blue polo with three stripes.
