Former Gamecock Shaq Roland Signs with West Georgia
Carrollton, GA (WGU) – The West Georgia Wolves are reloading for 2017, and that reloading began Wednesday with head coach Will Hall‘s announcement of 13 transfer athletes who will join the Wolves this spring in preparations for the 2017 season.
“We are excited about this group of signees,” said Hall. “Our staff did a phenomenal job assembling this group. They worked tirelessly with this class to make sure that we get back to our standard of excellence.”
The full contingent of December signees are expected to be enrolled at West Georgia in the spring and will take part in spring practice beginning in February. The Wolves finished with a 7-4 record in November and failed to make the playoffs for the first time in three years with Hall as the head coach.
“This group will bring great competition to our program for the spring,” Hall said. “It will be a very competitive spring as we get back to the principles that built this program. Go Wolves!”
